SAC Bernina
ClubWho are we? We are a section of the Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) with about 2,000 members. Where are we? Our section’s territory lies around Piz Bernina—from which the name is derived—in the most beautiful high valley of the Alps, the Upper Engadine, as well as the adjacent valley to the south, the Italian-speaking Puschlav. Activities In addition to an attractive summer and winter touring program for all ages, social events, five section-owned huts, and rescue and avalanche dog services, we also maintain our own library at the Museum Alpin in Pontresina. How can I become a member? Anyone aged 6 and older can become a member. Of course, we’d be delighted if you actively participated in our section’s activities in any way. But even those who simply support our section from the sidelines are warmly welcome. Give us a call, fill out the application online, or why not join one of our section tours?
